Properties
It is a white free flowing granular material, with irritating odor. Sodium Bifluoride is relatively stable salt. It is soluble in cold water and very soluble in hot water. Will react readily in water solutions with weak bases and sodium carbonate.

Manufacture
Sodium Bifluoride is normally manufactured by the reaction of hydrofluoric acid and soda ash (sodium carbonate), or caustic soda (sodium hydroxide).
