Properties
It is a white odorless material available either as a powder or in the form of crystals of various sizes.

Manufacture
Sodium Fluoride is produced by neutralizing Hydrofluorosilicic acid with caustic soda (NaOh).

Uses
>  Commercial laundry. Laundry souring agent
>  Manufacture of vitreous enamels
>  Manufacture of coated papers
>  Wood preservative
>  Water fluoridation
